Some times youth fall behind academically as they advance throughout grade school. They have problems coping with the social pressures they encounter. They are unable to maintain their academic skills while school is not in session. Their is a lack of structured entrepreneurship programs that will keep them. There is a need for activities for youth where they learn how to create an effective career plan so that they become responsible teenagers and young adults.
Our volunteers sit with our clients and create a detailed collaborative plan created with detailing the next steps needed to take to obtain the future that they want. The plan includes steps from initiation to completion with information and referrals for items such as:

Many youth need to learn a lot about the reality of entrepreneurship and how to become a effective business owner. They need knowledge and skills to prepare them to start a business.
Some low-income youth lack formal basic marketable skills necessary to start a business.
The CFAC of Nassau County, Inc. assists with the future of our clients with workshops on entrepreneurship. We also will host and refer clients to workshops from various creative experts where they talk about their specific field and about their process to succeed.
