Help us Raise money for our programs and scholarships for Nassau County Youth
Artists. Creatives. Dreamers. Producers of all the things we enjoy. They create the soundtracks to our life, the food we enjoy, the clothes we wear, and even the NFT’s we invest in. We appreciate the gifts, but many times our families and communities don’t support them when they are just seeds. Many low – middle income communities are told that only certain non-artistic jobs are practical and treat any artistic pursuits as hobbies. I believe a lack of counseling and information creates this misguided perception. If an organization can take the time to create a plan with our youth and fully detail the best course of action to achieve that goal, the “lofty aspiration” becomes a SMART goal. The Catered Future Arts Council of Nassau County, Inc. (CFAC) would like to be that organization.
The CFAC wants to meet with every youth and young adult that comes into our program and create a realistic plan with steps, risks, and benefits. We are here to support the individual whether they would like to open their own business or use their creative talent to work for someone else. The CFAC's job is not to change their mind, but to give them realistic steps regardless of the goal.
We will also provide these additional services to help youth and young adults reach their goal:
• We will provide or refer individuals to various online and in-person workshops in job readiness and entrepreneurship.
• An Individual Developer Account (IDA) Program where we assist with cost for starting a business and attending higher education
• Scholarship for high school seniors and “late bloomers”
• Collect donations of Art supplies and professional clothing for any youth in need
• Referrals for emergency community services for families in need
• Community Service Projects for the youth to have a stake in supporting the communities that they live in.
The CFAC's mission is to increase community support for artistic programs, events, and careers which will hopefully create more artistic spaces in the community. Come with us on this journey to increase the Arts in Nassau County.
The Catered Future Arts Council of Nassau County, Inc.’s mission is to offer equitable support to Nassau County youth interested in pursuing an artistic or creative career path.

There is a need in Nassau County for equitable and accessible youth entrepreneurship and job readiness programs focused on artists and creatives. This has likely caused many Nassau County youth to be unaware of the best practices to break into the artistic career which may in turn affect their view of their communities support for the arts. This may result in them moving to and seeking out opportunities New York City, out of state, or forgetting about their artistic future altogether.
